FISHING (ALMOST 3 1/2 YRS)

S went fishing with Poppy and Daddy on Saturday. Daddy took S to buy her first reel, a pink Barbie one. They spent the entire day on the lake fishing. Mimi even cooked her favorite dinner: cheesy noodles and green beans afterwards. Daddy said she did a great job learning to cast.

The next morning when she woke up, she asked daddy if he could take her fishing again. She also requested that next time for Mimi to sit in the boat with her. Of course, daddy said, "yes."

LARGE GROUPS (ALMOST 3 1/2 YEARS)

Momma is noticing that S does better playing in large groups of children now. S use to get upset playing at the Chik Fil A playscape if there were big kids around, or a large group around. That goesn't faze her anymore, which is good for her and good for momma. Momma thinks this is one of the benefits of preschool.

HALLOWEEN (ALMOST 3 1/2 YEAR OLD)

S had a blast on Halloween! After two days of cancelled and missed fall harvests (Bowie HS Carnival and Starbright Fall Harvest), S got a chance to enjoy herself at Lifetime's Spooktacular. It was great for her age. Her favorite thing to do was run the maze they had. She ran it 5 -6 times with momma and daddy. She played golf, hitting soft foam golf balls in carved pumpkin mouths. She got her face painted like a doggy and even got to watch the dance show.

At night, daddy, momma and S went over the MacKenzie's Halloween party. There was a great food set up and the neighborhood in west Enflied was decorated from top to bottom with Halloween lights and decorations. S quickly got the hang of Trick Or Treating and had a great time running/walking from house to house. S got a total of 21 treats walking the two blocks from MacKenzie's house. Momma divided the stash into two piles: eat now and save for January bag.

P.S. S's costume was a skeleton; she wore it to the Spooktacular, but by evening, she didn't want to get into her outfit again. She wore her Snow White pajamas and told everyone she was Snow White. Over it, she wore her pink robe. Dad's response when he say her was, "Are we poor?" Momma just sighed.
