I'M LONELY (3 YRS OLD)

S's euphoria for preschool is wearing off. On Tuesday, Miss Jennifer described her as sad all day; she never cried but was on the verge of tears. Miss Jennifer wasn't sure if it was because S had a big fall in the playground or not, but the teachers kept a close eye on her.

When momma asked why

SWINGING (3 YRS OLD)

S's playground love is the swings. She recently learned how to pump her legs to swing herself. Momma's been trying to get her to pump her legs in and out on the swing in the backyard for months, but it was daddy that figured out how to teach her. He sat down beside her and they did it together and S finally got the timing.

Now S can get herself started on the swing. Well, she still needs an initial push sometimes.

PRESCHOOL STARTS (3 YRS OLD)

S started school on August 25th and surprisingly she adjusted quickly and (seemingly) happily to school. On her first morning, S was reluctant to go to school and refused to get into the car. By the time S was at school, she seemed content-enough to swing while momma left. In fact, she didn't want to get off the swing to kiss momma goodbye. Daddy brought her to school and Thursday and she was more clingly with him than momma. Momma and daddy are glad they got most of the crying (on both sides) done at summer camp. (Note written three weeks into school).
