CHRISTMAS (32nd WEEK)

"S" first Christmas was blast for her! She was entertained by her cousins running around and playing with her. She loved the excitment and hussle of aunts, uncles, and grandparents running around her. "S" definitely enjoyed "numming" on the ribbons and boxes and her favorite toy this Christmas was the wooden spoon momma gave her to chew on because of her tooths.

Unfortunately, the excitment made it too hard for her take naps and on top of it, her teething made her uncomfortable, too. However, daddy being home to play with her made up for the tooth pain and grumpiness.

A BRICK (31st WEEK)

"S" becomes more human everyday. She picks up toys easier. She cries out when she wants something. However, for Daddy, December 19th is the day he remembers her becoming human. This day marked an important milestones for "S." It is the day that she sh*t a brick (actually a log). No more pasty poo-poo. Now, it's stinky human poo-poo! Lucky Daddy, he got to change her diaper!

TEETHING (30th WEEK)

"S" has finally cut her first tooth! It started with swollen gums two weeks ago and then last week, she had a faint outline of two bottom front teeth underneath her gum. This week, one sharp point finally poked out. She's been uncomfortable and hard to get back to sleep in the middle of the night and impossible to get to nap, and in general, a GRUMP!

BIG BONK (29th WEEK)

Poor "S"!! She received her first major "BONK!" this week. While momma was getting the bath ready, "S" jerked herself out of momma's arms to get a closer look at the water, and she "BONKED!" herself on the faucet and ended up wedged between the faucet and kitchen hose.

Both momma and S were upset. "S" had a raised outline of the faucet on her forehead which eventually became a red bump by bedtime. Unfortunately for "S," once she calmed down, momma put her into the bathtub. Luckily, the next day, the bump was gone (no bruise) and both were no worse for wear... Daddy says, "there's always next time..."

DADDY'S HOME (27th Week)

Daddy's been home all week during Thanksgiving to play with "S" and both have had a wonderful time with each other. The highlight of the week for the two was when daddy took "S" to the swings and she giggled the entired time she was in it. Afterwards, he took her to play with the pebbles in small playground.

Momma's favorite moments: (1) sleeping longer in the mornings because daddy's home and (2) Mimi and Poppy making funny faces at "S" to get her to smile at them over Thanksgiving. They succeeded.
