22nd WEEK STATUS

This weeks ups and downs have delighted and tired both "S" and momma and daddy. "S" has been busy grasping with her toes, learning to sit up, and playing with her new toy piano and pull toy. They have tested her patience but also excited her. Unfortunately, naps have been getting less frequent and shorter, causing "S" alter ego, Grumpasaurus, to rear its ugly head for parts of the day.

If "S" had her way -- little baby girls could stay awake and play all day. If momma and poppa had their way -- little baby girls would take naps when they need to.

Daddy's Favorite Moment of the Week: "S" playing with her toy piano and "scootchy" time.

Momma's Favorite Moment of the Week: "S" sucking on her toe in the bathtub.

TOES (21st WEEK)

"S" toes are the cutest things. She is realizing it too. She's now bending her legs up and trying to reach for her toes. Before we know it, those wiggling toes will be in her mouth.

21st WEEK STATUS

S" is making herself heard this week. She gives a short scream and reaches out her arm when she wants her blankie or Mr. Bear during naptime or wants one of her other toys during play time. This week she wanted to be in her excer-saucer. She kept turning her head, stared at it, and started to to thrust herself at it in mommy's arm. Pretty soon, there will be no holding "S" back

Quote of the week from daddy: "Mommy is trying to make you ("S") into a vingerette. She puts vinegar on your clothes (as a disinfect for the laundry) and olive oil on your head (for cradle cap).

ALLERGIES (20th WEEK)

"S" fought the battle of the allergies this week. She has inherited daddy's allergies. Poor girl and poor daddy! Both are tired, coughing, and have runny noses; the exception is daddy can blow his own nose.
